For some of us, this Ramadan might be our last one. In this video you will learn about the virtues of Ramadan and how to make the most of it. As a Muslims we must constantly verify our intentions and consider why we perform fasting. Do we do so merely because it is the practice of our parents and friends, or do we do so because it is part of our tradition, or perhaps because we simply want to conform to our environment in order to avoid any problems? Ramadan is a great opportunity to cut down on bad deeds, bad habits and to uplift us spiritually. Staying away from haram is obviously a tough thing to do. We can’t do it in a jiffy. We have to gradually build up our mindset to that point. So we should take one step at a time. There are plenty of haram that we do in our everyday life. In Ramadan while fasting we should remember that doing one of these will break our fast. We have to try our utmost best to remind it ourselves and attend the Salah 5 times a day. That will give a bit of courage to tackle the other problems. Finally, trying to recite or read the Quran at least a little bit and twice a day will help seal the deal. Practicing this for the whole month of Ramadan will bring a lot of change IN SHA “ALLAH”.
