The ninth fard is “To put absolute reliance and trust in Allah”.

Tawakkul in Islam is defined as putting one’s absolute trust and reliance in Allah (s.w.t) after having complied with what is required in that particular situation.

In this video, Ustadh Mahmud goes through some quranic ayats and hadiths pertaining to this topic and explains the true understanding of tawakkul. He also gives examples of how the true muslims in the past understood this concept. Listen to find out how to inculcate tawakkul in our hearts.
